I just got a lip piercing, and i have been taking care of it. The swelling finally went down, but because of it the front of the lip ring formed an indention in my skin that is painful and won't seem to heal. The front of the ring sets itself into it and i don't know what to do. How do i get it to heal?How long before the front of my lip piercing heals due to the deep indent on the front of my lip?sounds like your labret was too short. it may still be.?. might be a good idea to go bacvk to your piercer and have them look at it.
