I've been playing guitar for two years, I also sing. Whenever I gain enough courage to play/sing in front of people I just feel really strange and uncomfortable. We plan on passing out pamphlets about the hormone on in front of grocery stores that carry milk with it; the pamphlets wont discourage people from shopping at those stores, but will encourage them to buy non-rGBH treated milk at those stores.

How can I get more comfortable in front of crowds?
I am pretty quiet to strangers and don't like being in the spotlight. However, once I know someone well and am comfortable around them, I am pretty out going. How can I get more comfortable talking and performing in front of crowds, and being more comfortable when I am meeting new people? Sure everyone is watching you, but only a jerk is sitting there waiting for you to mess up. And do you really care what that person thinks? Take a deep breath and exhale (the exhale part is important). Find someone who will be in the audience and who is willing to work with you in advance and will be supportive. If you start to freak out then just focus on that person and exhale.
Take your time to gather your thoughts before the show/presentation. You don't have to race through it.
Personally, I tend to ramble and interject lots of ers, yeahs, and uhs when I speak. If you are giving a presentation then index cards work wonders to help you keep your place and prevent your from mumbling.
Everyone gets nervous in some setting. I sing, and by the end of high school I had completely conquered my stage fright. I could stand in front of a large group of people and be perfectly comfortable. Then, when I got to college and had to sing in front of my fellow music majors my nerves came back. The first time I sang in class I had to literally put my hand on my leg because my leg wouldn't stop shaking. But the next time it wasn't quite as bad, and the time after that it was a little easier. Keep it up and eventually you will find the stage fright management technique that works best for you.

Actually I'm always shy. When I ge in front of the class my face turns bright red and when I speak it's always quiet and I have to talk louder which is even more of an embarrassment to me.

Yes, I used to be a shy guy, but I discovered that when you are sociable, the fear goes down!

My towels are never soft when I use my front loader washing machine. I have tried softener but this doesn't seem to help. I am a good swimmer and can swim every kind of swimming style with ease. However, I have a problem while swimming the front crawl or freestyle swimming style. I cannot breathe sideways while swimming, my head is underwater throughout and I cannot move my head sideways. However, when I try my swimming speed slows down. Is this wrong? My sister started to feed a mother stray cat and her two kittens, so know the rest of the neighborhood cats gather at the front door and have started to mark thier territory. They may not be just marking though, they may also be urinating and pooping in the vicinity so that they can stay close to their food source and out of the weather and keep warm.
My suggestion would be to relocate your food source away from the front door. Try to keep it in a location that it will be protected from the weather but also where they can have easy access.
What I have done and it works for me is the following:
I took a shovel and removed all poop piles I found and dispossed of them.
I then hosed down my front porch.
I used a broom to scrub the porch with a white vinegar solution (1 part vinegar to 3 parts water)
Then hosed down the porch again.
White vinegar is a cheap and easy way to neutralize the odor of pet urine and it does work.
You just will have to deal with the smell of vinegar for a few days but eventually the pet odor will go away and so will the vinegar smell.
I think it is wonderful that you are feeding the strays but remember to also water them. Water can be just as scarce as food. I currently feed 13 strays at my house and go through a 20 bag of cat food in a weeks time. Once you started feeding the mama cat and her babies the word got out.
You may want to check into a no kill shelter or your local human society about capturing the kittens. If you don't your stray population will get worse. Cats can have 2-3 litters a year and could have anywhere to 2-6 kittens per litter. That adds up. Once a mama cat or queen starts weening her litter she will bring them to a food source and can be easily caught. They are normally around 4-6 weeks of age and can be seperated. Contrary to popular belief the human society does not put down kittens unless they test possitive for a deadly disease.

My suggestion would be to relocate your food source away from the front door. Try to keep it in a location that it will be protected from the weather but also where they can have easy access.
What I have done and it works for me is the following:
I took a shovel and removed all poop piles I found and dispossed of them.
I then hosed down my front porch.
I used a broom to scrub the porch with a white vinegar solution (1 part vinegar to 3 parts water)
Then hosed down the porch again.
White vinegar is a cheap and easy way to neutralize the odor of pet urine and it does work.
You just will have to deal with the smell of vinegar for a few days but eventually the pet odor will go away and so will the vinegar smell.
