How do you hang a wreath on an aluminum front door?
We have a new constuction home and the front door is aluminum (nonferrous) with insulating filler. The magnetic hooks dont attract to aluminum. Also, the peel and stick hooks from 3M dont stay on because we live in Northern Ohio and its way cold. They fall off after a couple days of cold/snow. When we bought our house, the former owners didn't leave us with a key for the chain lock at the front door and back doors. Problem is, I want it gone because we're painting the baseboards and I can't get it off without a key. It's the kind that attaches to the door and interior wall. I've removed the part from the door but can't get the part from the wall off. The chain is hanging by the side of the door and the attached end of the chain slides into some kind of mechanism that's locked. I've tried hammering it off, no luck. Any suggestions.

Our front porch steps are falling apart, and I really want to rebuild them, but im not exactly sure how to go about doing it, any tips? Well, my english teacher decided to assign this stupid assignment as to where we have to rewrite a whole song and perform it in front of the class. I am in a group and i guess that helps. She reckons that technique'll allow ya to take deeper inward breaths, it'll improve the tone, quality, range and power of yer voice, and it'll also minimise the risk ya might be runnin' of buggerin' yer bloody throat up at the minute. But seein' as it's an ENGLISH assignment, NOT a music one, you AIN'T bein' judged on the quality of yer singin' voice, though, surely to God?! I wish you all the luck in the world, anyway, my sweet. Garlic Fly Spray: Blend garlic and mineral oil in blender. Add water; blend again. Strain through cheesecloth, reserving liquid and throwing away the bulk. Add detergent to the liquid and store in a tightly covered jar.
When you want to spray for flies, mix 1 part solution to 2 parts water; put in spray bottle and spray screens or outside areas where flies are troublesome.

What is the approximate cost of adding a mudroom/ front hall?
My husband and I are going to put an offer on a new house, but the only problem is that it has no front entryway- no room for hanging jackets, taking off shoes, etc. The front door opens directly into a small living room. We live in Massachusetts, where it is cold during half the year, and opening that front door will bring the temperature of the whole house down. What I am saying is, in the US, if your house's front door looks like a wood door, is it possible there is an inner layer of metal between two layers of wood, so it looks good and very secure as well. In those hollywood movies, whenever a door appears on screen, it looks like a wood door, how can a wood door protect anything. I am simply curious. Also, how about the key? If you lose your key, who is responsible for unlocking the door for you? The fire department, or a privately owned business who repair locks and also can unlock doors and charge you a fee? If so, how the government regulate this type of businesses, given the special nature of their services. Do they provide 24-hour service? My front door is wood, not solid wood, but not a single sheet of wood. I also have a storm/screen door in front of the wood door. It is mostly glass with some wood as a frame. Both doors have locks. The wood door has the deadbolt lock. I think that it is secure. I don't think that someone would be able to kick it in, nor would someone bring an axe with them to break into a home. As for the key.... I keep a key hidden somewhere on my property and I also gave one of my trusted neighbors a copy. There are locksmiths who are on call 24 hours, but I'm not sure how they know that it is your home. Maybe you have to show them something like a drivers license or something. Honestly, I never thought about that! The government does not regulate locksmiths .... not to my knowledge anyway.

The car hit a curb at about 30mph, the front passenger side wheel is now bent inwards about an inch. I had it looked at and it looks like the wheel, strut, lower arm control and break line need to be replaced. Could anyone give me any idea of how much this would cost for this car? Im confused as to how much he detergent I should use for my front loader. Everywhere I've read that these machines use less soap but the instructions on the back of the dergent it says the contrary. For example the instructions read: if using a non he top loading machine fill to line 2
or
if using he front loading machine fill to line 3
This doesn't make sense? If you are supposed to use less soap why do the instructions say otherwise?

Its a communal shower so even your brother flights will be in there with you(around 50 guys total when I went through).
Most days you only have an average of 5 minutes to shower so you shouldn't be worrying about anything except getting in there and getting clean, so you wont even be looking at anyone else.

I was looking at a house that seems really nice except it has 2 big utility wires running from the pole by the curb, hanging across the lawn, and attaching onto the front of the house in a very visible spot. I hit a snow bank - rather a big pile of ice - after the tires slipped on an ice patch while accelerating to make it up the hill. As a result the front quarter panel was damaged and now it kinda sticks out above the tire and behind the light.
