Beggars in front of .......?

When you are faced with two beggars say Beggar A and Beggar B standing in front of you, both aged, equally weak and unable to earn a living, whom would would you give more of your money to, if Beggar A has a bowl which is half filled with coins and Beggar B has a Bowl which is completely empty ? Why would you do that ?

Using the above situation as an analogy, we all are Beggars in front of Allah (Subhaanahu Wa Ta'alaa) and His Messenger (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wa Sallam). When we ask only worldly things from him, it is like our bowl is half filled and we can only take little of the Nearness that Allah (Subhaanahu Wa Ta'alaa) wants to bless us with. But when we ask of him for eternal blessings in the form of Nearness to him and His Messenger (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wa Sallam), it is like the bowl which is completely empty which would draw his attention in a special way.

Thus, Allah (Subhaanahu Wa Ta'alaa) is bountiful and he will grant you what you ask from him. When people continously disobey him, they are asking him to put them in Hell. But when they sincerely asking him Nearness to him and His Messenger (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wa Sallam), he knows how to fulfill that desire in ways that would surprise you.

Isn't it true O Brothers and Sisters ? What are your views and thoughts on this ?Beggars in front of .......?This is true. Such people become Auwliya Allah.Beggars in front of .......?ma'sha allah.... well said. it is absolutely true that allah keeps the person more near to him who remembers him daily.... what you have said is correct brother...Beggars in front of .......????????? ?????? ??? ?????????? ???????? ????? ????????? ???????? ??????? ??????? ????????

Our Lord! Grant us good in this world and good in the hereafter, and save us from the chastisement of the fire.

[2:201]

This dua appears in verse 201 of Sura Al-Baqara and Allah says about the people who say this dua in the next verse:

For them there is in store a goodly portion out of that which they have earned. Allah is swift at reckoning. [2:202]

Your analogy is quite interesting and all, but I think the best word is The Word of Allah and it is quite clear in this regard.Beggars in front of .......?I miss Mecca Laran.

Salaam!

you noe wat i mean..Beggars in front of .......?.....................???????????????????…

:-) no ideaBeggars in front of .......?Since I am aware of studies which show that people are generally more inclined to make a donation where they see that others have already donated, I would give more readily to person B. I am reluctant to label someone a beggar since we are all equally in need just of different things and it is important to acknowledge the humanity of these two people as well as their need. If these are people I see more than once I would try to find out something about them in the hope that I could offer more than just a few coins. I would at least like to know their names and what their most pressing needs are.
