How should I act in front of my supervisor during breaks and lunchtime?

A few months ago I began to work in a factory. My boss is really nice and he sometimes sits with the smokers during breaks and lunch ( I don't smoke, I just sit there sometimes). Everything is so casual there and I'm tempted to just let it all hang out when it comes to my behavior and my topics of conversation. But, I know better than that, especially since I hope to move to an office job one day. What topics of conversation should I stay away from in front of him? Is there anything that I should avoid doing in front of him, for instance letting a cuss word slip, etc...?How should I act in front of my supervisor during breaks and lunchtime?Wait a little while and see what topics he seems to be comfortable with. Join in the casual conversations you are comfortable with, don't be afraid to show your personality. Most supervisors don't want to be viewed as uptight or unfriendly, they are just like everybody else. But clean language is advisable.

Avoid religion, politics, your sex life, money, or any other controversial topic. Go with sports, hobbies, your kids, a fun place you visited last weekend, movies you've seen. And even better, let someone else start a conversation and you can join in whenever you'd like. How should I act in front of my supervisor during breaks and lunchtime?since your relationship is professional, act professional. no swearing, keep the topics light. How should I act in front of my supervisor during breaks and lunchtime?avoid casual talk ,stay professional .How should I act in front of my supervisor during breaks and lunchtime?Let your boss pick the topics of conversation, but don't talk about anything that would make you feel uncomfortable or you wouldn't tell your grandmother.
