I hit a snow bank - rather a big pile of ice - after the tires slipped on an ice patch while accelerating to make it up the hill. As a result the front quarter panel was damaged and now it kinda sticks out above the tire and behind the light.
I'm assuming it needs to be changed, but i would prefer if they could just hammer it back in. But what do i know! :) Any mechanics here or somebody who had the same problem and has an answer for me? A good panel beater can fix anything it just depends on whether its so bad that it will take a lot of time and materials. It can work out cheaper just to replace the part.
Remember you might still have to pay a bodyman to paint the new panel to match after you buy it + fitting.
