Dog destroyed the front and back of my journal - Suggestions on how to fix?

Yeah my evil dog shredded the front and back leather cover of my moleskine journal. The pages are mostly still held together by the glue backing, so all i need to do is fix the front and back cover. Which are now shredded to confetti. I'd like to not use crappy pieces of cardboard.
