How do you replace the left front turn signal on a 1998 Jeep grand cherokee?

I tried for 30 minutes to replace the left front blinker and could not. Anyone know how to do it?How do you replace the left front turn signal on a 1998 Jeep grand cherokee?the light bulb? just screw it in. i never needed to change it before but i have the same jeep and im assuming thats what you do.
