How to over come fear of speaking and singing in front of crowds?

I love to sing but am afraid to.Every time I try to give a speech or sing in front a crowd.I start to shake and when I open my mouth nothing comes out.When I do a report at school I usually get points taking of because im to afraid to stand up in class and read it.It brings my grades down.If any one can help me learn not to be afraid to sing and talk in front of a crowd.It would help tremendous.How to over come fear of speaking and singing in front of crowds?make sure you have practiced a lot and you are confident!

also, try to remember that your classmates probably won't be thinking about your speech five minutes after you give it... so if you mess up it really won't matter to them.

good luck!How to over come fear of speaking and singing in front of crowds?Start with small crowds.

Maybe starting with your mom/father.

:-)

Do singing/talking in front of the mirror so it boost confidence.

:-) As you talk more in front of people, and sing you will get used to it.How to over come fear of speaking and singing in front of crowds?Just say yes.

%26quot;Yes, I will sing in front of this crowd.%26quot;

%26quot;Yes, I will go infront of this crowd and speak.%26quot;

Practice it for your family or friends.

Choose one person, (a friend or family member), and focus on them while you sing or speak.

Good luck =]How to over come fear of speaking and singing in front of crowds?I sort of used to be like that. Just tell yourself %26quot;Who cares what they think, I'll go up there and say what I need to say.%26quot;

Once I had to read a long report in front of English class, and pretty much the whole class was scared that day. Well basically all day (that class was 3rd period) before class, I kept telling myself %26quot;It's just a presentation%26quot; and telling myself I could do it, not to worry, etc. and it went fine.How to over come fear of speaking and singing in front of crowds?Just don't make a big deal about it. Whenever I read/sing in front of a group of people I try to have some fun with it. What I did when I first started was look at my friends and they would always find some way to make me laugh so I felt comfortable. What really helps is trying to make the people laugh/not be bored/at least a little interested, if you can do this then you won't have a problem anymore!How to over come fear of speaking and singing in front of crowds?I know this might sound corny, but if always works for me. Find a quiet relaxing place in your mind. Concentrate on only that one place and mentally chant %26quot;I can do this. I will do this%26quot; Once you are relaxed and confident, begin whatever you are doing. Try not to look directly at the crowd but don't look down either. Stare at the wall behind the audience, or at a small object on someone such as a tie or hair bow.

First, however, it might be good to start with a small audience and then increase. Stand in front of a mirror and do whatever you do. Then, do it in front of a pet or younger sibling. ( I know this is weird, but based on your question, you need to take baby steps) Next, do your thing in front of your parents. From this point, take it however you like....How to over come fear of speaking and singing in front of crowds?Hi!

I used to have the same problem, but it's over!!! You know why? Because I changed my point of view.

Yes, I used to be a shy guy, but I discovered that when you are sociable, the fear goes down!

The only thing you have to do is to be more sociable, and learn how to laugh at yourself, so your friends see you as a confident and human person. If they have that point of view, you don't have to be afraid if you have a mistake =)
